Today we had a busy day. We went out to the BMW museum and had a great tour. The museum is pretty tight, so they split us into two groups. They had a pretty good history of the company, along with motor cycles and both old and new cars. We walked through BMW Welt, which now looks like a car showroom rather than having a variety of exhibits. The group stopped for lunch near Marien Platz then met up for a quick tour of the Deutsches Museum, the technical museum of Germany. Every German we met said you need at least one week to see the museum. We had only three hours, but the students got a flavor of the museum. Steam engines, model trains, airplanes, energy exhibits, communication, textiles, mining, pretty much any industrial advancement was covered. Later we took the Sbahn back to the Hbf and accidentally met up with some of our students. Andi and I are very proud of these students for adapting to Germany so well. Three more full days of fun! BMW factory tour and a trip to the alps tomorrow..
