Day 4 (5/16/19): Cultural Day - Strasbourg, France

We made it to Strasbourg and are currently riding the rivers around the UNESCO site, the Grande Ile.

Day 3 (5/15/19): Freiburg, Vauban, Rieselfeld - Sustainable Communities

We have awoken bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.  I will write more later after our walking and bicycle tours...and hopefully, there will be time to make video for yesterday and today!

Update:  We survived the bike and walk tour today.  12 mi biking and 11 mi walking makes for some tired leaders!  But, the students are out on this beautiful evening getting dinner and such.  Good night...

Day 2 (5/14/19): Wind turbines, solar cells, and biomass energy - oh my!

We are all still doing well and made it to the wind turbines, solar cells, and biomass farms near Freiburg. We also saw a large caste ruin!  Super cool...  We went inside the base of a wind turbine and the energy company men showed up to ride the elevator inside (7 min ride) to fix a problem.  We never saw that before!

Day 1 (5/13/19): Frankfurt to Freiburg

We are all together and on our way!

All students are here and doing well.  We boarded our train and I am writing now from it... some students have been here a day or so...some just got here this morning.  Our itinerary today is to check into our hotel, have lunch, and explore the city until dinner.  We hope you enjoy watching our progress.

Day 12: Deutsches Museum and Hofbräuhaus

Another successful day!!!  Much fun in the science museum and a wonderful dinner time at Hofbräuhaus!
