Day 1 (5/13/19): Frankfurt to Freiburg

We hope you enjoy this video.  The day offered beautiful weather and was physically demanding.  Everyone is in good spirits.  We hope you enjoy this video compiling our day, where we logged about 7 walking miles and many stories climbed!

We are all together and on our way!

All students are here and doing well.  We boarded our train and I am writing now from it... some students have been here a day or so...some just got here this morning.  Our itinerary today is to check into our hotel, have lunch, and explore the city until dinner.  We hope you enjoy watching our progress.

All students have been accounted for and are in good spirits.  The program has ended and all are on to their next adventures...

Day 12: Deutsches Museum and Hofbräuhaus

Another successful day!!!  Much fun in the science museum and a wonderful dinner time at Hofbräuhaus!

 

Day 11: Therme-Erding — Geothermal Energy

The amazing engineering feat that is Therme-Erding was experienced by the students yesterday...millions of gallons of geothermallly warmed water to relax in and around.  A great day was had indeed!

Day 10: TUM-IPP

Today, we spent the morning and lunch at the University of Munich learning about fusion reactors in the Mac Planck Institute for Plasma Physics!  Many good questions were asked and answered...then, free half day had some going to Allianz to see the soccer stadium, Dachau concentration camp, and Church Tours.  

Day 9: BMW Day

Today, visits were made to the BMW museum, up the Olympic Tower and then to BMW Recycling/Dismantling facility.  The weather was outstanding!
