Day 3: Sustainability in and around Freiburg

We accomplished the mission today despite the wet weather...unfortunately, we were unable to ride the bicycles as planned because of this.  None the less, we persevered and saw all items that were part of the technical program. 

Day 2: Freiburg, Emmendingen, und Freiamt

We took them to see wind turbines, photovoltaic cells, and biogas farms...it was a tricky weather day that even brought thunderstorms...all are well and by the first picture you can see—they are a bit worn out!

Day 1: Freiburg!

Between last night with airports and today with trains and Freiburg hike...we logged nearly 10 walking miles.

All are present and accounted for and in good spirits!  

2018 Pre-Departure Blog Entry

Welcoming me to year 7!  We are once again looking forward to taking the seventh group of students on an exciting and educational trip!  

We generally try to blog each evening during the trip after our scheduled activities have been completed.

5/21/17: Program complete

All have checked-in with us, received their ticket to travel to the airport, and are on their way.  The program has ended...

It was a fantastic year and made so by a fantastic group of students.  

5/20/17: Deutsches Museum & Hofbraeuhaus Dinner

We made it to the largest technical museum in the world!

We have just finished our dinner and all are set to meet us one last time in the morning for their local tickets to take them to the airport.
